Flood at Local School

A broken sprinkler head caused two levels of a local school to suffer significant water damage. Luckily for them, the break occurred near the back by the maintenance area, so it is made up of mostly concrete floors, walls, and ceilings. There was one wall made up of drywall that was effected and needed to be cut. Even though most of the structure was unharmed due to it being concrete, there was a lot of standing water that needed to be dealt with. SERVPRO used their water extraction machine to get rid of the water and make the environment more suitable for drying. Any content that was effected by the water was removed from the room and placed in another room where it could be properly dried. SERVPRO was able to effectively save and dry out numerous important documents for the school. With the smart decision of the school to call and the quick response time by SERVPRO, they were able to get things under control and keep the damage to a minimum.
